Welcome to our church, Jesus King of Kings. We continue our teaching series on spiritual warfare, training your hand for battle.

We must guard our salvation with fear and trembling. We must make sure that what we have learned is in line with the Scriptures, and if it is not in line with the Scriptures, we have to unlearn it — that is, renounce it, reject those things that were not pleasing to God. All of us have been deceived at some point; all of us have held false knowledge, wanting to believe we were fine. That is false knowledge: when we hold a knowledge that makes us feel secure that we are with God, but in reality, through deception, we were with the devil.

During this first part of the series we are talking about the foundation on which we must fight the spiritual battle. Today we will be talking about knowledge and revelation of the Word. There is a true knowledge and revelation of the truth, and there is a false knowledge and revelation of the truth. To remain firm, we must be certain in our hearts that we hold the true knowledge and revelation.

In Proverbs 19:20 the Word says, "Listen to counsel and accept discipline, and at the end you will be considered wise." We must have a humble heart. If we think we are wise, if we believe we already know everything, we put ourselves in a very delicate position — a position that leads to defeat, to failure. In that position we will not succeed in the spiritual fight. To overcome in spiritual warfare it is essential that we be in that process of progressively, constantly filling ourselves with the truth, with true revelation.

Some of the points we will cover today are true knowledge and revelation, persevering in seeking true knowledge, and we will also talk about the false knowledge that leads to perdition.

In Proverbs 1:7 the Word of God says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction." If we want to remain firm in the fight, or to begin it firmly, we must have the fear of God in our hearts. In this battle we are completely dependent on the Almighty, because by our own strength it is impossible for us to fight this war — only through Him can we overcome. And the Word says that the fear of Him is the beginning of knowledge.

So, if we want to understand spiritual warfare — because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places — we must be humble, we must fear God, because He will not hold the guilty innocent, and if it is not through His Spirit we cannot fight the enemy; if it is not through the power of the Holy Spirit, we cannot confront the powers of darkness.

True knowledge and revelation. In James 3:13 the Word says, "Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done with the gentleness that comes from wisdom." Gentleness — this pleases the Lord. The Lord is pleased by humility; He gives grace to the humble, but the one who exalts himself will be humbled. In the Word we see how the Lord, in His mercy, tried on many occasions to save the souls of some of the religious leaders of that time, and many of them resisted and argued, even with Him, because they believed they knew the truth — because they had no humility, they already believed they knew it all. And this is important — why is it important? Because it is very noticeable to me how in many places, unfortunately, people are supposedly, so to speak, fighting the fight, but for lack of humility they are in error. They are doing something they believe is good, or that they believe will give a positive result, but they are not doing it — they are in error, in deception. And being deceived is bad, because it is true that the Word is true and warns us that the devil deceives the whole world. Having an error in which we are deceived in some area is not good, but if we have humility, and with a contrite and humbled heart we persevere in seeking the Lord, He brings us out of that error — but many times, to bring us out of that error, He sends His servants; He sends other servants.

In that same Word we see how, on one occasion, even the apostle Peter was corrected by the apostle Paul. So if we have humility and we are in error, another brother in the Lord, filled with the Holy Spirit, will correct us, will rebuke us. Paul rebuked Peter strongly, and it is in the Word of God as an example for all of us. So we can be wrong — Peter was wrong — but that error, that mistake, was not fatal, because I am sure, and it is very clear, that at Paul's rebuke he woke up and realized that something was not right. But if we harden our hearts, if we lack humility when correction comes, that is where the problem lies, because we can believe we are right and yet be deceived. It is always good to have humility, and those people we consider to be servants of God, filled with His Spirit, we should pay attention to what they say.

Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding." The fear of God is the beginning of understanding, and here the Word warns us to trust in the Lord. In this war we have to put this word into practice; we must not trust in our own understanding, because spiritual things cannot necessarily be grasped in a carnal way, and so we must allow the Lord to give us wisdom and understanding. In this war we are soldiers, and the Lord Jesus Christ is the leader, He is the general, He is the King — and not only King, because He is King of kings. We must always stay humble, looking to His guidance, seeking His guidance, the direction of the King. Those who are led by Him are His children, and in the spiritual fight the only ones who will be victors are His children — because those who are not children of God are children of the devil, and how are the devil's children going to defeat the devil, if he is the king of the wicked?

Ephesians 1:16 — "I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers." I will read from verse 16 to 18: "I ask that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. My prayer is that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, and what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints." So here Paul is giving the church a word, praying that they would receive more knowledge, a better understanding — and that, in a moment, will lead us to the second point: persevering in seeking more discernment. Because even though we already have a certain knowledge, even though by the grace of God — you and I, because those of you who are listening to me already understand that we have an adversary, and that is wonderful, glory to God for you who already understand that we have an adversary; glory to God that you already understand that we have to fight, that we have weapons at our disposal, and that we can have victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Truly, there are many pastors in many churches who have not yet come to that knowledge — that we have an adversary, but that we have spiritual weapons to defeat him. But once we already have that knowledge, that is not the end of the matter; there is more we can seek. I, in this process, for example, have had about seven years since the Lord initiated me into this battle, and I am still learning, and I think it will continue like this until the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ — because there is much to learn, there is more, but we want the true knowledge. Later we will talk about how there is a false knowledge, and that knowledge is perverse and diabolical and brings chains. Romans 11:33, "Oh, the depth of the riches and the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how untraceable His ways!"

Here this word wants to tell us that if we become wise in our own understanding, if we let ourselves be guided by our own wisdom, it is very likely that we will end up doing what does not please God, because the Lord's ways are very different from ours. The way the Lord sees things down here from above His throne is very different from the way we, who are down here, understand them; therefore we should not trust in our own understanding — we should walk according to His word and led by His Spirit.

In 1 Timothy 6:20, "Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, and avoid the empty and profane chatter and the contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge" — for example, science is one of the worldly forms of knowledge that many rely on and trust, but verse 21 says, "for by professing it, some have strayed from the faith." If we seek the knowledge of the world — even though to our eyes it appears to have wisdom, and to have some positive things, or things that may perhaps be useful — but if we focus on it, if we cling to it, if we seek it, if we put the knowledge of the world, such as science, ahead of the Word of God, we still end up in error, because our adversary the devil even uses science to harm us. If we are not led by the Spirit of God, if we do not put our faith first and deeply in our Lord Jesus Christ, then even science — things that seem as though they can be proven scientifically — even these things the devil uses to place a stumbling block.

In Luke 21:15, "For I myself will give you a mouth and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict." It is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself who gives that wisdom that no adversary can resist. At the end of this teaching I will be praying, because we want that wisdom for ourselves — we want a wisdom with which, guided by His Spirit, we can answer our adversaries in such a way that they cannot resist, because we want the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to be exalted and glorified. That is the purpose of the teaching of this series.

The intention is that we may serve the Lord, that we may be instruments in His hands to destroy the works of darkness. The second point is that we must persevere in seeking that knowledge and revelation. Even though we are already here, and we already know that there is spiritual warfare, and we already know what our weapons are, even though we already understand a little of what strategies the enemy uses against us, even though we already understand a great deal and we are already fighting — that does not mean we have to stay there.

We must continue in that process of growth, because there is more. In my own experience I have noticed how at some point I understood something and believed I understood it, but then, as a little more time passes, the Lord shows me the same thing but in a clearer way — it is as if something looked blurry, and then later it looks very, very clear. That happens when we persevere in seeking the Lord, when we persevere with humility, wanting to understand those things that are necessary in order to give Him glory.

Colossians 1:9, the Word says, "For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God." Here once again it speaks of praying so that we may continue growing in that knowledge.

At the end of the teaching we will pray for the Lord to fill us with His wisdom, because the knowledge we want is the knowledge that comes from Him — that is the one that leads us to victory. That knowledge is the one that practically hands the enemy to us on a plate, so that we can destroy him with ease.

Colossians 2:2-3, "My desire is that you be encouraged, and that, knit together closely in love, you may attain the full riches of complete understanding, so that you may know the mystery of God, which is Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Where are the treasures of wisdom and knowledge? They are in our Lord Jesus Christ. If we desire those treasures, if we want to be filled with that knowledge, if we want to understand the true schemes of the devil against us, if we want to be effective in having victory over our opponent, we have to seek the presence of the King of knowledge, of the One who possesses all knowledge, of the One who is worthy of all the glory — our Lord Jesus Christ. That is why humility is a great virtue, because if we make ourselves wise, and if we want to know everything, then we will not seek our Lord, we will not humble our heart the way it pleases Him.

Another point for today is knowledge and false revelation, and here is the part where all of us have to seek God and ask Him to have mercy on each one of us, because it is sad — each one of us has had the experience of seeing how many people, millions, actually billions — for example in the Catholic Church, just to mention one, or the Muslim faith, and many others — there are billions of people, billions of souls out there, and some of them are very faithful to their religions. But the same thing happens in the Christian church: there are billions of souls who believe they are pleasing God, and they are faithful to their religion; they do everything the father, or the leader of that religion, the pastor of those religions or denominations, has taught them. And it is sad that they are deceived. They have a knowledge to which they are faithful, but that knowledge is chains of Satan, as the Word says: if a blind man leads another, both fall into the pit. They have a knowledge, but they are being led by blind guides, so they are faithful to a knowledge that cannot save them, and based on that knowledge they fight the battle. For example, they light candles, they pray to a saint, they perform various rituals supposedly to drive away evil spirits, or to be healed, or to intercede for their children — but even when they pray for their children to one of those idols, or light candles and do certain things, they are cursing them.

Imagine — we suppose we are being a blessing, but if we are in ignorance we end up cursing the one we love; we end up fighting against what we love, in ignorance. The Word says that in this time we live in, the Lord's disciples will be hated by the whole world because of His name — but first, we are hated by those who claim to love God, because they have a false knowledge, a false interpretation, a false teaching, which leads them, even while believing they love God, to hate God, and to hate His children, His servants. So we do not want that knowledge; we do not want to be persevering toward the goal, toward the end, which is the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, only to find out we were building on the wrong thing.

And that, on that day, the Lord would leave us behind and then send us to the lake of fire, after we believed we were doing something right. So we do not have to be part of the many who will enter through that wide gate that leads to destruction. You and I can be among the fortunate ones the Lord will say to, "Blessed of the Father, come to Me, come, you for whom I have prepared a place." For that, we have to make sure we are diligent. We must guard our salvation with fear and trembling; we must make sure that what we have learned is in line with the Scriptures, and if it is not in line with the Scriptures, we have to unlearn it — that is, renounce it, reject those things that were not as God is pleased with. All of us have been deceived at some point; all of us have had false knowledge, wanting to believe we were fine. That is false knowledge — when we hold a knowledge in which we feel secure that we are with God, but in reality, through deception, we were with the devil.

Isaiah 5:21 says, "Woe to those who consider themselves wise and think themselves very intelligent." You and I do not want to feel wise; you and I want to be humble. God has mercy on the humble, on those who have a contrite heart. A contrite heart the Lord will not reject; the one who exalts himself will be humbled. But if we are humble — which is the opposite of being arrogant, of wanting to be wise — then we receive correction. Making a mistake is certainly bad, but if we make a mistake and we are sensible and receive correction — when someone comes, especially someone used by God, and tells us, "Look, Pastor Francisco, you are wrong in this interpretation of the Scriptures" — if I have good sense, even though I may be sure of myself, I will at least take a moment to listen to them, and then I will go search the Word, with the fear of God, to make sure that person is not right — because what if they are right, and I am the one who is wrong? But if we are humble, when we make a mistake it gets corrected, when we repent, when we are — and when we are deceived, deception gives power to the devil. Deception is one of the tools — lying and deception is Satan's number one tool to steal, kill, and destroy. Just look at it from the beginning — how he managed to get Eve, and all her descendants, to die, and Abraham too, through deception — one little word that he twisted, and she believed it, and that was enough, so that you and I, only by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed, because otherwise we were children of perdition. So deception is one of Satan's favorite weapons; deception leads to death, false knowledge leads to death — but if we are humble, if we are willing to receive correction and to seek God, we come out of that deception, and we do not have to die with the deceived; we can live.

Romans 12:2, "Do not conform to this world; instead, be transformed inwardly by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what the will of God is" — what is good, what pleases Him, what is perfect. We do not have to keep being programmed by the world. If we want to be effective in the spiritual battle, if we want to have victory, and if we want the final outcome of our faith, which is receiving the crown of eternal life, we cannot keep basing our lives, what we do, on what we had previously learned. We have to humble ourselves, and we have to let our mind be renewed by the knowledge of God — through the renewing of our mind, now those things that are not seen with the eyes, we can then see in a way that makes sense, through the Lord Jesus Christ, once we have been renewed.

James 3:13-17, "Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show, by his good conduct, his works in the gentleness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and lie against the truth. This wisdom is not the kind that comes from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic." Look at that — wisdom that is natural, of the earth, that is demonic — it looks good, but it is demonic, because where there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there is confusion and every evil practice. "But the wisdom from above" — there are two wisdoms: carnal, earthly wisdom, and wisdom from above — "is first of all pure, then peace-loving, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without wavering, without hypocrisy." That is the wisdom we want, and we also have to understand that there is earthly wisdom and there is heavenly, spiritual wisdom. We want the heavenly wisdom. We have all acquired some earthly wisdom, and we have to be very careful with that wisdom, because it can suddenly become a stumbling block for us. The Word talks about how some people spend their lives learning but never come to the knowledge of the truth — that is another very important point, because it also depends on whom we learn from. If a blind man leads another, both fall into the pit.

The wisdom we should receive, that comes from God, the Lord gives it through His disciples — a bad tree does not bear good fruit. From whoever you learn, from whoever you receive, you are going to bear that same person's fruit. If you allow a blind man to teach you, you are going to bear the fruit of the blind. But the Word says that whoever receives a true prophet, will receive a prophet's reward — that is, the people we listen to, the people we are learning from — the work that is going to be manifested through us later on is very much tied to that. It is a very important part, because if that person is truly walking the narrow road, then by listening to them and learning from them, you too will remain on the narrow road. But what happens if it is the opposite — if it is one of the many false prophets there are in the world? What happens if it is a person who has a form of holiness, like the Pharisees — inwardly, through deception, one who hates God and opposes the true work of Christ? Whatever is in them, you also receive, and later on you will end up being like them.

In part number 3 of this series, where I will speak about a very important, crucial subject — the transfer of spirits — I will expand more on this topic, on why we must be very careful about who we listen to. Well, be careful — if you truly love your salvation, you must be careful about who you listen to. If there is not a true servant of God, it is better for you to learn on your own, seeking God at home, rather than listening to the false ones — because at least, by only studying on your own, you will have limitations, that's true; there are things you probably will not understand by yourselves. But at least you are not filling yourselves further with demons, you are not receiving transfers of spirits, you are not receiving religious spirits that will now fight against your salvation. It is good to have some guidance, someone who truly has revelation of the Word — listen to them, but let them have true revelation. We do not want the Pharisees, who literally knew the Scriptures their whole lives but did not know God, and even crucified Him. They thought themselves wise, and they even dressed very well, because they had the great temple, and they were the ones who controlled the synagogues, yet they persecuted the children of God, the disciples — they did not recognize His servants, nor did they recognize the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. So if you go and learn from a Pharisee, what fruit do you think there will be in your life? The fruits of a Pharisee — those fruits lead to death. We do not want those fruits. By their fruits you will know them. If a person does the work of God, does the true work of God, you will see it in their fruits — you will see whether they are a true disciple. If you see those fruits in a disciple, learn from them, but if you do not see them, it is better not to listen to them, it is better not to listen to them. False knowledge leads to a stumbling block.

Point number 4: In Proverbs 12:15 the Word says, "The way of a fool seems right in his own eyes, but the wise listen to counsel." Fools think, "I already know God, I am a son or daughter of God" — after 30 years of being Catholic, being Mormon, being part of the many — there are more than 30 thousand denominations — 30 years being deceived, 30 years being Muslim, believing in Allah, praying to saints, when the Word clearly says not to do this. The fool, if his heart is stubborn, you show him with the Word of God, you show him, "Look, here it says you should not make any image for yourself," and then you find another verse, and another, and so on, because many, many passages talk about idolatry — and if they are foolish, you can explain to them over and over that it is wrong, but they say, "No, it's not that I'm wrong, it's that I'm a child of God" — but the Word says that idolaters will not enter the kingdom of heaven. So the fool believes he is right in his own way, and I am not judging those who are in error — I speak to them in the love of God, so that they may understand that we have to be humble. It doesn't matter whether you, as a woman or a man, were deceived — I was deceived too — but the fact that we were deceived, the fact that we had some tradition, some religion because the whole family had it, that doesn't mean we have to keep going the same way. Just because you fell doesn't mean you have to stay on the floor — who said that? We have the freedom to choose; we now have the freedom to search — whether we are truly part of a religion or a church because we want salvation — because in the word of Jesus Christ, in the Word of God, is the path we must walk to reach that goal. So let's go to the Word and search — we cannot overcome in ignorance. Do you think that praying to Allah to protect you and take you to heaven is going to bring victory? Do you think that praying to idols to be healed is going to bring true healing? Many people go to witch doctors seeking healing, they do different things, cleansings even with eggs, to be healed, to be set free — but they do it in ignorance. We know that even though it may seem that something positive happened through those things, because the devil is a deceiver and he heals too — sometimes, and I have heard of many people who pay a witch doctor and get healed — they get "healed," supposedly — but even though it looked like a physical healing, in the spirit they received more chains. True healing comes through our Lord Jesus Christ. That is why it is important to seek the true knowledge — we do not want to believe we are serving God and then end up in the lake of fire; we do not want to think we are fighting against him, believing we are fighting the devil, only to find out in the end that through deception we were his servants, and that during all those years what we were was a soldier of Satan in deception, one of those who even persecuted the Lord's disciples — for which the condemnation will be even more severe, how terrible — because we did not humble our hearts and seek God for the true knowledge, and then someone believes they are doing something good, and what they are doing is deserving of eternal torment, and even a more severe punishment. Unfortunately this happens to far more people than I wish it did, because there are billions of souls enslaved — the Muslim religion has, I believe, more than two billion people, the Catholic religion another roughly two billion — how terrible, how many souls are in chains, how much work we have to do. Truly, we must fill ourselves with revelation and with a teaching like this one, so that we can now fight effectively to snatch souls away from the devil — united, we are more than conquerors.

1 Corinthians 3:18-20, "Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become a fool, so that he may become wise, for the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, 'He catches the wise in their own craftiness,' and again, 'The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are useless.'" We do not want the wisdom of the world, we do not want the wisdom of science; we want the wisdom from above, we want heavenly wisdom, and in that way we will be able to understand what the perfect and pleasing will of God is.

2 Peter 3:16-17, "As also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist, as they also do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction." If we do not understand the Word because something seems hard to understand to us, we become arrogant, we reject things instead of being humble and seeking God — that can lead to our own destruction. "Therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard, so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness." If we learn, if we take in knowledge from those in error, if they preach the Word the way it says here, but twisted, and many things like that, then we cannot stand firm on the Lord's path, and by listening to fools, to the senseless, to those who have a demonic wisdom, we slip.

Here the Lord is the One who gives us the victory, but for us to keep that victory we have to receive the truth and be humble — we are very clearly warned. "For there will also be great false prophets, who will perform great signs and wonders and will deceive many" — but if we look further, this passage says one falls from steadfastness; another passage says that soul is lost. In other words, they follow the false ones and end up on the road to the lake of fire. And this is important for staying firm, because even though you may have been blessed through a person God uses, as in my case, if you do not have understanding and you take in what is wrong again, then you lose the blessing you received again — the spiritual blessing cannot be maintained. The Lord gives us freedom in the ministering through His servants, but it is up to you to fill yourself with the truth and keep it. You have to want to keep it — otherwise you lose it. "Therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard, so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen."

2 Timothy 3:7-9, "Always learning and never able to come to the full knowledge of the truth. And just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, disqualified regarding the faith. But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as also was that of those two." False knowledge leads us to fight and oppose what belongs to God — just as Jannes and Jambres believed they knew God, but they opposed God and His servant Moses. We do not want that kind of knowledge. There are two kinds of knowledge — this is important, and if we understand it and have humility in our hearts, we will seek the Lord with humility. Even I myself confess that I regularly seek God and pray in private, in secret: "Lord, search my heart. Lord, search everything I do. Lord, if there is something hidden, have mercy on me, Lord. I do not want to do what does not please You, Lord. I only want to do Your will, Lord. I do not want false knowledge, Lord. I do not want anything that comes from darkness." If we do this, as I do, with humility, the Lord is merciful — He does not want anyone to be lost. He said, "Knock and it will be opened to you, seek and you will find, ask and it will be given to you. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied." We must want God's righteousness. We must have a heart that only wants to do what is truly good; we are not content with a copy, we are not content with a little chain or a stone, like a diamond-look bath — we want the real precious stone, we want the truth. We do not want a copy, and we have to have humility.

Because we have pierced the devil, who well deserves the condemnation that awaits him, because when it comes to lying and deceiving, truly, he is better than everyone at it — the devil, for lying, and even Paul said, "I do not know" — after ten years of having been a preacher — "lest I myself be disqualified." We have to fear God. In these times we are living in, which are so difficult, so terrible, the Word says that if those days were not cut short, no soul would be saved. Humility is a great virtue; we must fear God, we must seek Him with all our heart.

During this first part of the series we have talked about the foundation on which we must stand firm to fight the true spiritual battle. We talked about obedience, about love, about faith, about true knowledge and revelation of the Word; we also shared about true and false spiritual warfare. Now, having a solid foundation, in the second part of the series, which we will continue this Saturday at 9:30 in the morning, we will be talking about the weapons we have to now go on the offensive, and also to defend ourselves, to protect ourselves against the devil — so do not miss it. We will be praying in a moment so that the Lord would fill us with true knowledge, and that in His mercy He would open our eyes to all false knowledge, that He would grant us spiritual clarity so that we can see those things that seem good and are not. But before that, I want to give thanks to all of you — those of you who have been supporting the work, both those who are part of the church and those who are not. Your offering is serving the purpose for which the Lord has ordained that offerings be given to the church; your support makes it possible for us to have the opportunity to keep doing the work we do — to share the Word of God, to heal as many as possible, and to set the oppressed free. May the Lord bless you for supporting us, and as there is a link under each video — there are several links — you can give to our church if you feel led to do so in your heart. May the Lord bless you and multiply you for your support.

Now let us pray. If you would be so kind, even those of you who are at home, please stand, and let us seek God with a contrite and humbled heart. I think that at some point most of us have been arrogant — I myself was, perhaps out of ignorance I rejected correction — but now I invite you, let us repent together. Let us ask God's forgiveness for having rejected admonition, for having rejected our own blessing. Perhaps the Lord brought someone into our life to try to draw us closer to Him, and in our ignorance, instead of saying, "Thank You, Lord, for sending someone to open my eyes," what we did was get angry, scold that person, mistreat the person who did not want to bless us — but you and I, and all who are listening to me, have the opportunity to repent, and now we will do this. Repeat with me: Heavenly Father, we come before Your presence in the name of Jesus Christ, and we ask forgiveness for all our hardness of heart. We ask forgiveness for the many times in the past that we did not receive admonition, that we rejected our own blessing. Forgive me, Lord, for our ignorance, and we thank You, Lord, for Your mercy. In many ways we have transgressed against Your Word; in many ways we have done what is wrong before a holy God. May Your Word be revealed. Your love is great, Your mercy endures forever, because You are a just God — in Him there is no darkness, and He will not hold the guilty innocent. Even the angels who sinned, You cast out of heaven; those You delivered with Your mighty right hand, opening even the sea for them to pass through — when they rebelled, You destroyed them; others rebelled later and the earth opened and swallowed them. The righteous You exalt and give eternal life, but the rebellious You destroy, and You have created the lake of fire for them. We know that You are just, we know that You are love and merciful, but we love You and we fear You — we love You because You loved us first, but we fear You because You are holy, and in Your Word You clearly express what You will do to the rebellious and disobedient — and we do not want rebellion, not even out of ignorance. So we repent, for ourselves and our families, of all the rebellion we have shown toward Your Word, for not seeking the knowledge expressed in Your Word, for having let ourselves be led by carnal knowledge, by the knowledge of the world and of religions, and we ask for Your mercy. Lord Jesus Christ, today we know that there are two kinds of knowledge — a heavenly knowledge that brings life and peace, and an earthly knowledge that brings death and destruction. We choose the knowledge from above, and here we come to Your feet as an empty vessel, with a contrite and humbled heart, because in Your words You have revealed to us that You are the source of knowledge, that only through You can we obtain true wisdom. Therefore we do not want to trust in our own understanding, and we ask You, Lord, to fill us with that heavenly knowledge. May Your kingdom come to us, and may Your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. We exalt Your name, Lord, and we give You glory and honor. Thank You for Your Word, which gives us life; thank You for Your Word, which is a light for our steps. This world is in darkness, but Your Word is the lamp that lights our path, and we give You glory for that light, because Your Word is light, because You are light, because You are the Word, and You are alive — Your Word is alive. You are the King of kings, You are Lord of lords, You are Alpha and Omega, You are the First and the Last; there is no other like You, You are the Almighty, and we give You glory and honor because You are worthy to be exalted, You are worthy to be praised. Thank You for having mercy on us — we do not deserve so much goodness, but You have been pleased to have mercy on us. We want to do Your will — guide us like children, teach us to do Your will, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

I am going to give about five minutes before we finish, to pray for everyone. I cover every person listening to me with the blood of Jesus Christ. There is power in the name of Jesus; the gates of Hades will not prevail against the church of God — He who is with us is stronger than he who is in the world. Every sickness within the sound of my voice, I command you, come out, in the name of Jesus. Pains and discomforts, get out, in the name of Jesus Christ. Oppression, heaviness, emotional oppression, come out, in the name of Jesus Christ. Anguish, get out, in the name of Jesus. Depression, sadness, come out, in the name of Jesus.

Everything that causes stubbornness, so that when we share with people they don't want to listen, come out, in the name of Jesus. Every spirit that makes them reject Your Word, Lord, we rebuke it, in the name of Jesus. Everything that opposes salvation, everything preventing a family revival — I rebuke you, in the name of Jesus Christ. Opposition to salvation, come out, in the name of Jesus. Carnal knowledge, I rebuke you, in the name of Jesus Christ. Worldly knowledge, spiritual blindness, come out, in the name of Jesus. Anguish, get out, in the name of Jesus. Pain, unrenewed mind, come out, in the name of Jesus. Wounds of the soul that the enemy turns into a weapon, come out, in the name of Jesus. Wounds that have not healed, come out, in the name of Jesus. Hidden pain in the heart, come out, in the name of Jesus Christ. Confusion, come out, in the name of Jesus. Mental oppression, get out, in the name of Jesus. Emotional oppression, come out, in the name of Jesus. Pride that refuses to accept its faults, come out, in the name of Jesus. Lack of repentance, refusing to repent, get out, in the name of Jesus. Stubbornness, come out, in the name of Jesus. Heart of stone — may every heart of stone be devoured by the blood of Christ, in the name of Jesus. Pain, get out, in the name of Jesus. Oppression, come out, in the name of Jesus. Every spiritual chain and shackle that began through false doctrines, through false teachings, through carnal knowledge — may those chains be broken, in the name of Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus Christ.

Where the Spirit of God is, there is liberty. If God is with us, who can be against us? May there be fire and light in every person within the sound of my voice, in the name of Jesus. May all darkness be broken apart by the light, in the name of Jesus Christ. Darkness and light met, and darkness did not prevail. Darkness will not prevail before the light — if God is with us, who can be against us? May fire come down and destroy every deceiving power that gives false knowledge, in the name of Jesus. Every power of darkness that opposes the true revelation of the Word, may it catch fire, in the name of Jesus. There is power in the name of Jesus Christ. We will not be put to shame, we who trust in Him. If God is with us, who can be against us?
