Whatever we ask for in prayer, we will receive. But of course, we will not pray selfishly. We will not ask, 'Lord, give me a million dollars because I want to go on vacation to Hawaii.' Obviously we are not going to receive things that are for the flesh. But if we pray according to the will of God, with faith, He hears us. If we pray with faith, we will have an answer.
Praying with faith is very important, because if we pray without faith, it is like saying, 'Lord, help me, if you want to.' If we do not believe He is willing to help us, if we do not believe it is His will to bless us, if we do not believe it is His will for His word to be fulfilled in our lives, then we are doubting His word.
If we pray with faith, He will answer us. In Jeremiah 33:3 the word says, "Call to me, and I will answer you, and I will show you great and hidden things that you do not know." When we have faith, when we pray with faith, the Lord is wonderful and fulfills His word. In James 1:6 it says, "But let him ask in faith, without doubting, for he who doubts is like the waves of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind."
"Then Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water." Peter believed — he believed that if it was the Lord, he would walk on the water. The Lord said to him, Come. So Peter got out of the boat and began walking. But then what happened? He doubted. And what happened when he doubted? He began to sink. Because the Lord responds through our faith.
To many who came to Him with faith for healing — like the woman with the issue of blood, who only touched His cloak and was healed — He said, "Daughter, your faith has saved you." But prayer without faith is like moving backward, and we end up destroying what He commands, and the enemy suddenly sends curses against us through witchcraft, through dreams, through words. But when we pray with faith, with understanding, with revelation, we destroy what the enemy sends against us.
In this series we will be highlighting and examining how Jesus Christ Himself lived a life of prayer, and the importance of us also living a life of prayer.
We must also pray as children of God, not as the religious do. If we pray with faith, we have an answer. Prayer in unity — the whole congregation praying for the same purpose, with the same conviction, in the same spirit — also brings an answer.
I will also share the different reasons why we should pray, why we should intercede.
Point 1: Maintaining a constant life of prayer
Jesus Christ lived a life of prayer. In the Word we see various Scriptures where the Lord, at different hours, even in the early morning, would rise to pray. If we are His disciples, we must learn from our Master. Whatever the Master did, we must do.
Matthew 14:23 says, "And after he had dismissed the crowds, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone." We see that once the Lord finished preaching, doing His work, healing, delivering, He would withdraw to the mountain to pray alone. The Lord had a permanent life of prayer.
Luke 6:12: "In those days he went out to the mountain to pray, and all night he continued in prayer to God." Night is the most fitting time to pray; the Lord kept watch alone, withdrawing to the mountain to pray.
There are several Scriptures that mention Jesus going to the mountain to pray. He would go to a place set apart, away from the noise of the world. Of course it was somewhat different back then, because as the Lord said, He had nowhere to lay His head — He had no house, He went about doing the work from place to place. But even so, with His humility and simplicity, whenever He finished preaching, He would often withdraw and go alone to pray, even in the early morning hours.
Luke 22:45: "And when he rose from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping for sorrow." The time of His crucifixion was drawing near. Even in that difficult moment, He also prayed.
The Lord prayed for different reasons, for different purposes, at different hours, set apart. One very common thing He did many times was withdraw alone — alone in the presence of the Father. He went alone, not even in the presence of the disciples. He went alone to pray. And it is good to look at all these things, because in one way or another, we want to be imitators of the Lord. We want to imitate everything He did, with humility, with love, with faith, and in obedience. We want to be like Him.
Matthew 26:39: "Going a little farther, he fell on his face and prayed, saying, My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will."
Clearly, in that moment of anguish, He also prayed — He prayed practically at all times. He prayed for every reason, for all reasons.
The Lord Himself lived a life of prayer. That alone is reason enough for you and me to seek to establish and maintain that life of prayer. Because if He, being God, prayed — prayed much, prayed in the early morning, at times spent the whole night in prayer, prayed when He was in anguish — how much more should you and I, who have weaknesses of the flesh and are not gods, we cannot compare ourselves to Him; how much more should you and I pray.
Point 2: The importance of living a life of prayer.
It is important, once again, because the Lord Himself did it. That alone is reason enough for you and me to do it — to live a life of prayer. Because being a disciple means being like the Master. And if the Master considered it necessary to pray as He did, then it is necessary for you and me as well, even though He had all authority over the powers of darkness — how much more do we need it. And even so He was strengthened and sustained by remaining in the Father's presence in prayer.
Luke 18:1, the word says: "And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart." Here the Lord gave a parable about the importance of prayer.
It is not only important to pray, but to pray without losing heart. That is, when we pray and it seems we do not receive what we asked for, that is not a reason to stop there — we must persevere all the more.
We also find in Daniel that when he sought the Lord and prayed, the answer was sent immediately. Although the prince of Persia opposed him for twenty-one days, Daniel persevered in fasting and prayer until the answer arrived. So just as Daniel persevered, that is how the Lord commands us to persevere.
If the unjust judge granted that woman justice because she was persistent, how much more will the just Judge grant us justice if we are persistent. Psalm 145:18: "The Lord is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth." The Lord is near to those who call upon Him sincerely. We have to call upon the name of the Lord in prayer. We have to seek His presence. If we seek Him with all our heart, in spirit and in truth, the Lord draws near to us, the Lord hears us, the Lord answers us.
Romans 12:12: "Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, constant in prayer." Here the Lord, through Paul, gives us His word. Standing firm in the Lord does not mean we will have no tribulation. In this world there will be tribulation, because we have an adversary who hates us. We have an adversary, but the word says patient — that is, resilient, firm in the face of tribulation, not retreating because of adversity. Unfortunately we will have adversities, but we must once again be constant in prayer. Through prayer we are strengthened; through prayer the storm comes, but it does not make us fall, because if we remain firm in faith, in prayer, the Lord sustains us.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." Once again, pray without ceasing. There are many Scriptures where we are commanded to pray without ceasing, giving thanks to God in every situation, without complaining, because this is His will for us in Christ Jesus. We must pray, give thanks even in our tribulations, in our adversities, in those things the devil causes that displease the flesh, that afflict us — even in these situations we must remain firm in prayer, giving thanks to God. This is the will of God, and there is wisdom in what He commands.
When we are obedient, when we stand firm in faith and pray even in adversity, an atmosphere is created that the devil cannot stand. Imagine him striving to afflict us, to make us sad, to make us complain, to make us think it is the end of everything because everything looks dark — but we do not fix our eyes on how everything around us looks, because we walk by faith and not by sight, and in the middle of that adverse situation that seems dark, we are giving thanks to God and we are in prayer. That is torment for the devil. The devil cannot stand for long an atmosphere like that, in which he is straining to make everything dark, but we hold our ground and remain firm in prayer, in faith, and giving glory to God.
Acts 6:4: "But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word." Here the apostles are speaking; they understood, they knew the importance of prayer. At that time the congregation was already growing rapidly, but there were many women, elderly widows, who needed help, and at that time the apostles distributed and provided food to those in need from the offerings received. Then some complaints arose that they were neglecting the widows; so the apostles gathered together and said it was not right for them to neglect prayer and the sharing of the word in order to wait on tables, so they chose seven men full of the Holy Spirit.
They understood the importance of prayer, so they appointed people full of the Holy Spirit to distribute to those in need.
Although helping the needy — and even more so the brothers and sisters of the congregation — is important, they understood that prayer was even more important, of greater relevance.
Colossians 4:2: "Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving."
Here, as in the verse we shared recently, it speaks of persevering in prayer and with thanksgiving. These are two things we must keep firm, current, constant in our lives: praying and giving thanks to God. Every time we notice something negative, we should say: Lord, forgive me, I thank You because in the midst of this situation You are with us, You are with me. Lord, I thank You because even though everything looks dark, I do not walk by sight, but by faith. I know You are greater than this storm in my path. We have to learn to give thanks to God. And many of us have the bad habit of complaining in the face of adversity.
It is something we learned from the world, but now we must allow our minds, our hearts, to be renewed by the Word of God. The more we allow the Word of God to penetrate our minds and our hearts, the more clearly and closely we will see the glory of God manifested in our lives.
Point 3: We must pray as children, not as the religious.
The religious use certain wordiness, repetitions, and appear to pray fervently and constantly. They think that by many words they will be heard, but that is not so. True prayer is a form of communication with God.
It is a way in which we speak with God. It is a way in which we pour out our heart to the Lord — our supplications, our needs, our family and adverse situations. It is a way in which we communicate with our Father. So true prayer does not consist of a series of specific words, but of presenting what is needed in that moment.
1 John 5:14: "And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." It is very important to ask according to His will.
The religious pray according to their own will, because unfortunately they — and even we ourselves — were taught wrongly, but now we all have the opportunity to straighten our paths and begin to relearn how to pray according to the word of God.
False doctrine has taught us to pray selfishly, all about me, me, me and me — but a selfish me, in order to spend it on our own pleasures.
For our prayers to be more effective, we must remain constant in the word of God and learn to pray according to the will of God. We must fill ourselves more and more each day with the word of God, because the more we know the word of God and the more we pray according to the word of God, the more answers we will receive, and the less likely we are to pray wrongly. "But you, when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you" (Matthew 5:6).
And praying is not talking just to talk, as the Gentiles do, because they imagine they will be heard for their many words. That practice of praying in secret, of praying in private, is also something we should all put into practice, because the Lord Himself did it. The Lord Himself withdrew from His disciples and from the crowds to pray in private. The Lord withdrew to pray alone, and He did not do it only as an example. The word clearly commands us that when we pray, we should be in our room or a quiet, private place — go somewhere no one is watching us, to the mountain, to a river, to a forest, where no one sees us, and simply be in His presence in prayer. That time of intimacy with God is important. That time of intimacy with the Lord strengthens us.
Point 4: We must pray according to His will.
John 14:13: "Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." Here the Lord is giving a promise; this promise is for the children, for those who walk according to His will and pray according to His will.
Because He promises that whatever we ask in His name, He will do. When we come to that obedience toward Him, when we know His will and pray in faith, whatever we ask for in prayer, we will receive. But of course, we will not pray selfishly.
We will not ask, 'Lord, give me a million dollars, because I want to go on vacation to Hawaii,' because obviously we are not going to receive things for the flesh. But if we pray according to His will, in faith, He hears us; John 14:14 will be fulfilled: "If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it."
If we were to pray without faith, it is like saying, 'Lord, help me,' without having the confidence to receive it. 'If you want to' is like doubting — if we do not believe He is willing to help us, if we do not believe it is His will to bless us, if we do not believe it is His will for His word to be fulfilled in our lives, we are doubting His word. But if we pray with faith we will obtain things even greater than what we asked, as Jeremiah 33:3 says: "Call to me, and I will answer you, and I will show you great and hidden things that you do not know."
When we have faith, if we pray with faith, the Lord is wonderful, He will answer us.
James 1:6 says, But let him ask in faith, not doubting at all, for the one who doubts is like the surge of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. When Peter said to Him, Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water, he believed — he believed that if it was the Lord; so Peter got out of the boat and began walking. But what happened next? He doubted. And what happened when he doubted? He sank, because the Lord responds through our faith.
To many who came to Him with faith for healing, like the woman with the flow of blood who only touched His cloak and was healed, the Lord said, Daughter, your faith has saved you. Because when there is faith, His power works on our behalf. But when we doubt, it is as if we hold back the blessing of God in our lives. Because the Lord is pleased with our faith.
The Lord wants us to believe that He is who He is, and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. He does not want us to doubt Him. He wants us to be certain, sure in our hearts, that He is faithful to His word and that all His answers are yes and amen for those of us who trust and believe in Him.
Matthew 21:22: "And whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Once again, whatever we ask for in prayer, seeking the presence of God, believing, without doubting, we will receive. That is an area we have to work on, that many have to work on, because many ask, pray, seek, and do not receive.
Nothing changes, because there is no faith; there is doubt. As that man said — the man whose son was sick with something like autism — he asked for help; the Lord told him, if you believe, all things are possible for the one who believes. And he recognized that he had unbelief, that he did not quite believe. He said to Him: I believe; help my unbelief. That is, it was as though he believed, but he had unbelief. So we have to learn from that man's example.
And if there is unbelief in our hearts, we must seek God and say to Him: Lord, help my unbelief. Also, the Lord, in His mercy, has provided ministers — as in my case — who through deliverance, through prayers of deliverance, can also set people free from unclean spirits that are behind causing unbelief. But we must be set free from unbelief so that we can receive more quickly what we ask for.
Acts 10:31: "and said, Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God." Cornelius was a man who did not even know God, but he was upright in heart; he feared God, was constant in prayer, fasted, and gave alms. He had a noble heart, and although he did not know God, he was constant, persevering in prayer. That is how the Lord sent an angel to tell him, Cornelius, your prayer and your alms have been remembered before God. And even though he did not know God, the Lord, through the angel, gave him instructions on how to contact one of His disciples so that he would receive the word by which he and those with him would be saved. So, prayer with constancy and a noble heart brings God's answer into our lives, but we must be patient; sometimes we do not receive the answer when we are expecting it or in the way we are expecting it, because it comes in the Lord's timing and in His way.
Point 5: We must pray in unity of spirit.
The congregation united in prayer with the same conviction brings an answer.
Matthew 18:20 says, "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." If we are united in prayer, if we are united seeking the presence of God with the same conviction, in the same spirit, with the same purpose, the Lord is pleased with that.
I would say, as the word says, we are sanctified, perfected through unity; the Lord is pleased with unity. In the word we see different stories of times when there were adverse situations and the congregation, united, prayed, and the Lord's answer came. For example, when Peter was in prison, in Acts 12:5, the word says he was kept under guard in prison, but the church was praying to God constantly for him, and the Lord sent an answer so that Peter would be freed from prison.
The Lord also said in Matthew 21:13, "It is written, My house shall be called a house of prayer, but you have made it a den of robbers." The Lord desires that His house, His church, be a house of prayer. That is, it is the Lord's will that a church like this one be in constant prayer and be called a house of prayer, because it lives a fervent life of prayer. That is what pleases the Lord.
Point 6: Different reasons why we should pray.
This is not an exhaustive list. There are many more reasons why we should pray, but I will present a short list of prayer topics so that your mind can keep being renewed and you will have something to be praying for.
We should pray for wisdom.
If we happen to lack wisdom in some area, we can ask God for it. James 1:5 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him." So if we lack wisdom in some matter, with faith we seek the presence of God and ask Him: Lord, I want more wisdom.
Lord, I want to understand Your word. Lord, I want to be able to understand what Your perfect will is. Lord, give me wisdom to manage my home, to raise my children, to serve You, to serve in the church.
When adversity comes, we should pray for wisdom so we do not fall into temptation, because we could sin or step outside the will of God.
We should pray for our enemies.
This word I am about to share with you, I would say everyone should write it down, keep it, and read it many times until it becomes engraved, engraved, engraved — so that it is always right there, available.
Because we are in the final time, and the devil controls the minds of many in this time. There are many end-time demons coming up out of the abyss, and they control people's minds very strongly, and suddenly cause even those closest to us — children, parents, spouses, friends, the people we trust most, or the leaders of the church — to suddenly behave in a totally unexpected way that, unless we are firm in the faith, really hurts us. In that situation, what the flesh wants is to respond in the same way we are being treated.
We cannot gratify the flesh. The word says here in Luke 6:27-28, "But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you." And there is more word that commands the same thing, and it says, so that you may be sons of my Father who is in heaven, for if you bless only those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? If you pray only for those who love you, what credit is that to you? If you only greet those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? But your heavenly Father makes His sun rise on the just and on the unjust.
We must be obedient to the word of God, and therefore it is an important reason to pray for our enemies.
Once again, as the word commands, what must we do? They curse us, we bless; they hate us, we do good to them; they persecute us, we pray for them.
What should we do when we are mistreated? Curse them back, or go punch them? Neither one. We must pray and bless them.
Our weapons are not carnal, they are spiritual. In the end, I know it sometimes seems unjust, because it seems like some of these people are getting away with it, as if nothing happens and they keep doing evil and nothing happens. But truly I tell you the Lord will avenge. The Lord is coming soon and He has His reward for everyone. And He will repay each one according to their works. If we do what He commands and bless our enemies, pray for them, and do good to them, even while they keep doing evil, the word says we heap burning coals on their heads. Imagine what will happen when the Lord comes in His glory with His angels. If those who do us harm do not repent in time, will they be able to stand? I do not believe so.
If there is anyone who knows how to repay the wicked who do not repent, it is the Lord. In truth, toward those who hate us, we should have compassion. If there is anyone who knows how to repay well those who do evil, it is the Lord.
The reality is that He is a just Judge and He will do justice. And in my experience serving in deliverance, I have seen how, when He releases His wrath at times — by His mercy, not because I deserve it, nor because any of us are worthy, I would say by His mercy — on many occasions over these years that I have been serving Him, the Lord has made His presence known in a glorious and powerful way.
And when He has shown up while we are in prayer, in deliverance, the enemy gnashes his teeth. The torment is something beyond what we can grasp or understand. We must have compassion for those who do evil, because if they do not repent, the punishment awaiting them is unbearable, severe. The lake of fire is real, and the Lord knows how to punish the wicked, so I invite everyone: straighten your hearts, repent — the Lord is coming soon, He is coming for a church that is clean, without spot or wrinkle. And the wicked, He will certainly not hold them innocent.
Now we all have the opportunity to turn our hearts back to Him, to the Lord; more than words, He wants our heart — a heart that loves Him, a heart that serves Him, a heart that separates itself from the world, that keeps itself clean from the world's contamination.
We all have that opportunity. I invite you — the time is now, do not leave it for tomorrow. It is only one opportunity for salvation, a very great opportunity; there is nothing in this world for which we could justify jeopardizing this great opportunity we have today.
We should pray for all the people of God.
Yes, we must intercede for all the people of God, for all the brothers and sisters, for those who are not yet brothers and sisters because they are still in sin but who in their heart love God — we should be interceding for all of them, so that the Lord will bring them out of their bondage, so that the Lord will open their eyes and free them from deception, so that their spiritual ears will be opened, and when a servant of God comes, someone sent by God to share the truth with them, that they will listen, that they will not harden their hearts.
Daniel 9:20 says, "While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my plea before the Lord my God for the holy hill of my God." Here he was praying — for whom? For all the people of God. He was repenting, not only for himself — for whom was he repenting? For all the people of God. Yes, that is what we should do.
We can ask for forgiveness; we should pray and ask for forgiveness, but not only for ourselves and our own sin, because that is almost selfish — although we should do that too, pray for ourselves and our sin — but we must give ourselves that time, that opportunity, as much as we are able, and as we pray, from time to time, to ask forgiveness not only for our own sins but for our family, for our country, for everyone. We should seek the presence of God in repentance.
Ephesians 6:18: "Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication." With all prayer, that is, with every kind of prayer. We must pray for different areas — for finances, for our children, for our marriage, for our country, for our leaders. There are different prayers we must pray; for each specific need we must learn to pray.
"And keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints." Keeping alert, that is, being constant, watching over all the saints, and making supplication — we should plead for the brothers and sisters, we should plead for those who are struggling, we should plead, pray for those who have strayed from God's path and even for those who have not, so that they remain firm in God's path, so that they do not fall into temptation, so that the Lord frees them from the evil one and from every stumbling stone in their lives.
We should pray for the healing of the sick.
As the word says in James 5:15, "And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." When there are people who are sick, everyone should intercede, but those who are anointed by God, those to whom the gift of healing has been given, are the ones who should directly lay hands on and pray for the sick; but everyone, the whole congregation, should be united, interceding.
Interceding is good; for those whose hearts are upright, the intercession of a person who fears God and has revelation, who walks in faith, is powerful and effective — it is edifying for the body of Christ.
We should pray to cast out demons.
The word says in Matthew 17:21, "But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." This kind — the type of demon that boy had, the one that had something like autism — was strong, and the disciples could not cast it out. The Lord came and with just one word — deaf and mute spirit, come out! — and the boy was healed. But it says this kind, that is, this type of strong demon, does not go out except by prayer and fasting.
For this type of demon, prayer alone is not enough — there has to be a combination of prayer and fasting to achieve the goal of these children being made whole. But we should pray to cast out demons.
We should pray to receive spiritual gifts.
1 Corinthians 14:13: "Therefore, one who speaks in a tongue should pray for the power to interpret." For example, here it speaks of the power to interpret tongues, which is a gift of interpretation of tongues. But there is more of the word that instructs us to ask in prayer for spiritual gifts. (1 Corinthians 12; Romans 12:6-8)
Now then, asking according to the will of God does not mean that if we ask, 'Lord, I want to be a prophet, I want the gift of healing,' we will automatically have it. But it is lawful for us, according to the will of God, to pray for it — but we pray submitted to the will of God. Not that our will be done, but His.
But if we long for it, if we want it, if we ask for it, let it be to glorify the name of the Lord, to serve Him, to exalt His name.
We should pray for the leaders of the church.
The enemy attacks everyone, but those of us who are at the front of the battle are attacked five times as much. Even so, we also have the role of interceding for those, like you, who walk in the fear of God.
Philippians 1:19: "For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance." Here Paul was in prison, and he knew and understood that through the intercession of the church and the help of the Lord's Spirit, he would be released from prison. When there are adversities for the leaders, your intercession is also very effective and helpful.
We should pray that the Lord will send more workers into His church.
Matthew 9:38 says, "Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."
So we should pray for the Lord to send more servants. Truly the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
We should pray when we face setbacks.
The word says in Philippians 4:6, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God."
We should not be anxious when facing a setback, but instead give thanks to God and pray, that our requests be made known to God in prayer. We will wait patiently on Him.
We should pray over our food.
1 Timothy 4:5: "For it is made holy by the word of God and prayer."
There were certain foods that were not lawful under the law, but under grace the Lord commands us to eat everything, because when we pray over it and by the word of God it is sanctified — nothing is unclean anymore. And the Lord said to Peter, do not call unclean what I have made clean.
We should pray for the Lord to open doors of opportunity for His servants to preach the Gospel.
For example, if you want a servant of God to come to your city, to your country, you can intercede for that. If you pray and make requests to God in faith, the Lord opens doors so that so-and-so can come to my country or to my territory — the Lord will send him.
As Paul said in Colossians 4:3, "At the same time, praying also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison." In this letter Paul tells the church of Colossae to pray for him, or for the other brothers, for the other apostles, for the other disciples, so that doors would open for them to go and make known the mystery of the word.
Now it is time to put into practice what has been taught in this series. Let us pray:
I cover every person listening to me with the blood of Jesus Christ. I cover everyone who follows us and the whole congregation with the blood of Jesus Christ. Let there be fire and light in each one of you in the name of Jesus.
Let every unclean bird sent to devour the word, to steal this word, this seed, catch fire and burn in the name of Jesus. Everything that causes unbelief, let it catch fire and burn in the name of Jesus Christ. Let there be a firestorm over the entire army of darkness in the name of Jesus.
The gates of Hades will not prevail against the church of God. Greater is He who is with us than he who is in the world. I strike all darkness with the light.
Let all the powers of darkness be divided and violently turn against one another in the name of Jesus Christ. Let there be a firestorm over the enemy's entire army in the name of Jesus. Every army that causes confusion so that people cannot understand the word, I rebuke it in the name of Jesus Christ.
All darkness on the eyes and ears, that covers spiritual ears and eyes so they cannot hear and see clearly, be disintegrated by the light in the name of Jesus. Let there be division over the enemy's entire army in the name of Jesus Christ. There is power in the name of Jesus. The gates of Hades will not prevail against the church of God.
Darkness over the eyes, come out in the name of Jesus. False gifts, out in the name of Jesus Christ. Blockage of true gifts, come out in the name of Jesus. Opposition to fasting, out in the name of Jesus. Blockage of prayer, come out in the name of Jesus.
