January 2 – February 10, 2027
Join the Fast
Forty days, from January 2 through February 10, 2027, when pastors, church leaders, and congregations around the world seek God together. Participation is free.
What we will pray for together
- Unity among churches and believers
- Spiritual renewal and breakthrough in congregations
- A deeper understanding of His Word
- Wisdom for leaders, families, and churches
- Provision of the resources needed to advance His Kingdom
These are shared prayer objectives. We seek God together and trust Him with the answers; no particular result is promised.
What participation means
This is a 40-day season of prayer with appropriate individual participation in fasting. It is not a requirement to abstain continuously from food or water for 40 days. People who cannot fast from food are welcome to join in prayer.
A note on your health
Before changing what you eat, seek appropriate medical guidance — especially if you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant or nursing, or have a history of eating disorders.
Your church remains your church
Congregations take part as they are. Every church retains its own leadership, identity, and decisions about how to participate.

Frequently asked questions
Is participation free?
Yes. Joining the fast, subscribing to the teachings, and receiving updates are all free.
Can I subscribe before teachings are released?
Yes. Subscribe now and you will receive new teachings and fasting training as they are published. Until then, the library on this page shows what is coming.
Can I receive updates by email or text?
Yes. Choose email, text messages, or both when you register. For text messages, include your country code. Message and data rates may apply.
Can I participate with my congregation?
Yes. When you join the fast, choose “With a congregation.” Your church keeps its own leadership and identity and decides freely how its members take part — no one should feel pressured.
Do all participants follow the same type of fast?
No. Each person chooses an appropriate way to participate — with prayer, wisdom, and suitable guidance. Some fast certain meals or hours, some keep a partial fast, and some join in prayer without fasting from food. The teaching series explains the biblical background.
Can I participate through prayer if I cannot fast from food?
Yes. Prayer is the heart of these 40 days, and everyone who cannot fast from food is welcome to join in prayer.
When will meeting details be announced?
Meeting times and other gathering details will be shared with registered participants, and on this page, once they are confirmed. They have not been set yet.
How can I unsubscribe?
At any time. After you register you receive a personal link to leave the teachings, the fast, or both. Our emails include an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text message. You can also contact us.
