Commandments of Jesus Christ to His Disciples to Forgive #7. Mark 11:25-26 And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Luke 6:37 Do not judge, and you shall not be judged; do not condemn, and you shall not be condemned; forgive, and you shall be forgiven.
2 Corinthians 5:17 'Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.'
Luke 17:3-4 Watch yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to you saying, 'I repent,' forgive him.
Matthew 18:15-17 Therefore, if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, just between the two of you; if he listens to you, you have gained your brother. Mat 18:16 But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses. Mat 18:17 If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
Colossians 3:13 Bear with one another, and forgive one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do.
Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Matthew 6:12-15 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Mat 6:14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; Mat 6:15 but if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Romans 12:14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
Luke 6:36-37 Be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. Lucas 6:37 Do not judge, and you shall not be judged; do not condemn, and you shall not be condemned; forgive, and you shall be forgiven.
Matthew 18:21-35 Then Peter came to Him and said, 'Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?' Mat 18:22 Jesus said to him, 'I do not say to you up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven. Mat 18:23 Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants. Mat 18:24 And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. Mat 18:25 But since he could not pay, his master commanded that he be sold, along with his wife and children and all that he had, and payment be made. Mat 18:26 Then that servant fell down and prostrated himself before him, saying, "Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all." Mat 18:27 Then the master of that servant, moved with compassion, released him and forgave him the debt. Mat 18:28 But that same servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he seized him and took him by the throat, saying, "Pay me what you owe!" Mat 18:29 So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, "Have patience with me, and I will pay you all." Mat 18:30 But he would not; instead he went and threw him into prison until he should pay the debt. Mat 18:31 So when his fellow servants saw what had happened, they were greatly grieved, and came and told their master all that had taken place. Mat 18:32 Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, "You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me. Mat 18:33 Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?" Mat 18:34 And his master, in anger, handed him over to the jailers until he should pay all that was owed to him. Mat 18:35 So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.'
Luke 6:27-29 But to you who hear, I say: love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you. To him who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either.
1 Peter 3:8-9 Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.
