- We are under a New Covenant.
- The Lord did not come to break the Law—He came to fulfill the Law.
- They cannot be saved and live under the Law. Those who live under the Law have fallen from grace.
- Cursed are all who live under the Law.
Heb_7:11 Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron?
Heb_7:12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.
Mat_11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.
Luk_16:16 The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.
Mat_5:18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.
Mat_5:17 Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
Gal_4:4 But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
Luke 4:18-21 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed;
Luk 4:19 to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. Luk 4:20 Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. Luk 4:21 And He began to say to them, Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.
Matthew 26:28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Rom_6:15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
Rom_7:6 But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.
Titus_3:9 But avoid foolish disputes, genealogies, contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless.
Rom_10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
Rom_6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Gal_2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
Gal_2:21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.
Rom_3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight,
Rom_3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.
Gal_2:19 For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God.
Gal_3:11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for 'the just shall live by faith.'
Gal_3:12 Yet the law is not of faith, but 'the man who does them shall live by them.'
Gal_3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.'
Gal_3:13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'),
Gal_5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'
Jas_1:25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
Gal_5:4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
Act 15:24 Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, 'You must be circumcised and keep the law'—to whom we gave no such commandment— Act 15:25 it seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, Act 15:26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Act 15:27 We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who will also report the same things by word of mouth. Act 15:28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: Act 15:29 that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell. Rom_2:13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified;)
