Third Friday of every month

Prayer for People Facing Cancer, Tumors and Diabetes

On the third Friday of every month we pray for people living with cancer, tumors or diabetes, for those waiting on a diagnosis or test results, and for the families and caregivers beside them.

We pray for healing, strength through treatment, relief from pain and fear, wisdom for doctors and nurses, and peace for every family. God cares for the whole person.

Who this meeting is for

  • People receiving treatment for cancer or a tumor, and cancer survivors
  • People managing diabetes and its complications
  • Anyone waiting on tests, surgery or a diagnosis
  • Caregivers, spouses and families who need strength and rest

What the evening is like

  • Comfort from Scripture

A short reading about God’s presence in suffering.

  • Prayer for healing and strength

Pastors pray for the people and needs shared in the chat, by first name.

  • Prayer for caregivers

We also pray for the families and medical teams who care for the sick.

Prayer alongside medical care

We pray for healing, and we make no promise about the outcome of anyone’s illness. Prayer is spiritual support; it is not medical advice or treatment.

Prayer never replaces a doctor’s care, and no one should stop a medication or treatment because of prayer. We pray for medical teams too.

Questions

Can someone join who is too tired to participate?
Yes. They can join from bed with the camera off and simply listen while others pray.
Can I ask for prayer for a family member in the hospital?
Yes. Write their first name in the chat, or send a confidential prayer request beforehand.
Does seeking medical treatment show a lack of faith?
No. Doctors, medicine and treatment can be part of God’s care. We pray alongside them.
Is there prayer for healing on other days?
Yes. The live prayer room is open every day, and you can send a prayer request or book a private session any time.

Good to know

  • Every meeting is free and everyone is welcome. Nobody will single you out, ask you to speak, or ask you for money.
  • Prayer is spiritual support. It is not medical, mental-health, addiction, legal or financial advice, and it never replaces the professionals who care for you.
